Bahraich, Aug. 21 -- In a distressing event, a man from Bahraich district was accused of causing the death of his wife and three young daughters by allegedly pushing them, with the help of his friend, into the Sharda River in Lakhimpur district.
The incident occurred on August 14 in the Motipur police station area. The accused, Aniruddh, was taken into custody yesterday, several days later.
According to police, Suman, wife of the accused, and their daughters Nandini (11), Anshika (6), and Lado (3), had left with Aniruddh from her maternal home in Chaudhary village on the day of the incident.
