Kanpur, Feb. 8 -- A speeding high-end luxury car driven by Shivam Mishra, son of tobacco businessman KK Mishra, rammed into more than six people on VIP Road in the Gwal Toli police station area today afternoon.
The accident occurred around 3:15 pm when the car went out of control near Rev-3. A motorcyclist was thrown nearly 10 feet into the air, and the luxury car reportedly ran over the bike. Several pedestrians and roadside vehicle owners were also injured.
Angry locals surrounded the car after the incident, but police arrived and rescued the driver from the crowd. All injured persons were admitted to a private hospital.
