Hardoi, Oct. 22 -- A known history-sheeter named Parashuram was found murdered near the roadside in Bajirao village in Hardoi district today, police confirmed. The victim was allegedly killed following a gambling dispute that occurred during Diwali.
His blood-soaked body was discovered by locals along a rural access road in the Atarouli area. Police recovered a blood-stained brick and two mobile phones from the scene, about four kilometres from his home.
Police have filed a case of murder based on a complaint by Parashuram's brother, Jogendra, who informed authorities about the gambling altercation.
