Banda (UP), March 27 -- Four people, including three of a family, were sentenced to life imprisonment along with a fine of Rs 10,000 each by a local court on Thursday for murder of a woman, a prosecution counsel said here.
District Government Counsel (DGC) Vijay Bahadur Singh and Public Prosecutor Uma Shankar Pal said that Vishnu Singh, a resident of Devratha village under Baberu police station, had married Sialli against the wishes of his family.
"It was alleged that Sialli was constantly harassed by finding faults in the household work," they said.
