Firozabad (UP), April 27 -- Five persons were arrested by the police on Sunday in connection with murder of local Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader in Tundla area of Firozabad district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here.
Superintendent of Police (City) Ravi Shankar Prasad said that former district panchayat member of BSP, Vinod Kumar alias Pappu Kushwaha (50), a resident of Mohammadabad village, was stabbed and shot while he was going somewhere on his motorcycle from home at around 10:00 am on Saturday.
He said that a case was lodged by the deceased's son Prince against seven persons. "Tundla police and SOG team took action in the related case and surrounded the accused hiding in the ruins of a water park on Sunday morning,"...
