Baghpat (UP), Feb. 11 -- Body of a 50-year-old farmer missing for the last three days was found under mysterious circumstances in Khekra area of Baghpat district here in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, a police officer said here.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Preeta said that Kiranpal Singh went missing from Nangla Bari village on February 7. "On Sunday his body was found in the sugarcane field of Tipu, who informed the police," she said.
She said that the body has been sent for a postmortem examination. "Suryabhan, the brother of the deceased has lodged a murder case," she said.
