Hardoi, Jan. 16 -- A man and a woman were found dead after allegedly standing in front of a moving train on the Lucknow-Delhi railway track in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh, officials said on Friday.
Police investigation later revealed that the two were closely related as brother-in-law and sister-in-law, the officials confirmed.
The incident occurred in the Dehat Kotwali police station area. Due to the severe mutilation of the bodies, initial identification proved difficult. The victims were later identified by family members after police shared photographs on social media.
