Bahraich (UP), Nov. 12 -- An eight-year-old child was seriously injured after being attacked by a wolf in Hardi area of Bahraich district here in Uttar Pradesh, forest department sources said on Wednesday.
Sources said that the incident took place in Parsohna Gangapurwa village of Mahsi tehsil late on Tuesday evening, where Sone Lal Verma's eight-year-old son Rohit had gone to fetch water from the tap behind the house at around 5 pm. "During this the wolf hiding in the bushes suddenly attacked him," they said.
