Azamgarh(UP), Dec. 11 -- The Azamgarh police on Wednesday solved the high-profile murder case of Rajneesh Pandey alias Raju, four days after the incident that shook the district.

Officials confirmed the arrest of four accused- a father and his three sons- who allegedly killed Raju over a long-standing land dispute. Police also recovered the country-made pistol, cartridges, and other evidence used in the crime.

Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Madhuban Kumar Singh said that on December 6, Raghav Pandey, a resident of Marra Karmanathpatti, lodged a complaint at the Kotwali police station reporting the murder of his 45-year-old son, Rajneesh Pandey.
