Lucknow, Feb. 16 -- Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav today levelled serious allegations against the Election Commission and the ruling BJP regarding the Special Summary Revision (SIR) process, accusing them of resorting to deletion of a significant number of voters' names.

He said that the data clearly shows that targeted theft of PDA votes is taking place, as names of people are being systematically removed from the voter list through Form-7. He alleged that a large number of voters, especially those from the Muslim community, have been deleted using forged signatures.
