Bahraich, Nov. 25 -- One person was killed and three others were injured during a clash and stone pelting between two groups allegedly over an old rivalry in Ram Gaon area of Bahraich district in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, police sources said.
The sources here said that Mujiburrehmn alias Gulle (40) and Liaqat Ali, both residents of Tarapur village, were having rivalry over Panchayat polls and a land dispute.
"On Friday morning the matter escalated and both the parties clashed during which heavy brick batting was done," they said.
Police sources said that Gulle died during the clash after being hit by a stone. "Three persons, including Liaqat were injured in the clash.
