Hyderabad, Jan. 15 -- The School of Physics, University of Hyderabad (UoH), will host a national-level conference titled '100 Years of Quantum Mechanics' (HYQM-2026) on January 23 and 24 at the university campus in Gachibowli.
According to the university statement issued on Thursday, the conference is designed for two sets of audiences. Day 1 will focus on undergraduate and postgraduate physics students and researchers, while the second half of Day 2 (January 24, from 2 pm to 5 pm) will feature popular talks for school students of Classes 9 to 12 who are familiar with physics and calculus.
The initiative comes as quantum mechanics is now being introduced to students studying under the MPC/MBiPC streams in Classes 11 and 12.
