Kolkata, Sept. 12 -- Mystery shrouded the Jadavpur University campus with the discovery of a 3rd year English department girl student's body, which was floating in a water body last night in the prestigious institution in south Kolkata, official sources said today.
The student, identified as Anamika Mondal, was found floating in an unconscious state around 10 pm yesterday in the pond opposite the UG Arts Building on campus and was taken by the classmates and campus security personnel to nearby KPC Hospital, where the medics declared her dead on arrival, sources said.
