Aizawl, July 16 -- Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs and Fisheries, Animal Husbandry
& Dairying, George Kurian today laid the foundation stone for two major development projects in Siaha district in southern Mizoram under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK).
The ceremony was conducted virtually and hosted at the MADC Golden Jubilee Hall in Siaha.
The event was also attended virtually by local legislators Dr. K Beichhua, Siaha MLA and president of BJP Mizoram and K Hrahmo, Palak MLA.
In his address, Kurian reiterated the Government of India's commitment to the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, aiming for a developed India by the 100th year of Independence.
