New Delhi, Nov. 22 -- union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) and Planning, Rao Inderjit Singh, briefed Vice-President C P Radhakrishnan on the functioning, key initiatives, and future plans of NITI Aayog, along with an overview of the vision and strategic roadmap for Viksit Bharat 2047.
During the meeting at Parliament House, the Vice-President lauded NITI Aayog's proactive engagement with Central Ministries and State Governments in strengthening policy frameworks, programme design, and on-ground implementation across sectors.
He specifically commended the institution's flagship initiatives, including the Aspirational Districts Programme.
