Chandigarh, Sept. 19 -- union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol is scheduled to begin a tour of flood-affected areas in Punjab's Moga district today to assess the extent of the damage firsthand.
Speaking to the media, Mohol said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directed all union Ministers to visit flood-affected regions to evaluate the situation on the ground. He reaffirmed the Central Government's commitment to supporting Punjab and other flood-hit areas, which have sustained significant losses to homes, crops, and livestock.
