Hyderabad, June 9 -- Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy inaugurated the newly-installed facade lighting of Kacheguda Railway Station at an event held at the station premises on Monday evening.

Speaking on the occasion, Reddy recalled that the facade lighting project was approved during his tenure as Union Minister for Tourism.

He stated that the illumination project has been completed at a cost of Rs 2.23 crore using 775 advanced LED lighting units.

Highlighting the architectural significance of the station, he noted that the Kacheguda Railway Station-built in 1916 in Indo-Gothic style-is a historic landmark in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
