Union Minister Karandlaje calls Siddaramaiah 'Tipu Sultan', says law and order has collapsed in Karnataka
Bengaluru, May 5 -- Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje on Monday launched a blistering attack on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, calling him "Tipu Sultan" and accusing the Congress-led Karnataka government of emboldening anti-social elements through political appeasement and selective case withdrawals.
"After 2013, Siddaramaiah has become the real 'Tipu'. Under his tenure, anti-social elements and terrorists have been let loose on the streets," Karandlaje said while addressing the media here. She alleged that the state's law and order machinery had collapsed under the Congress regime and accused the government of favouring one particular community for vote bank politics.
