Vijayawada/New Delhi, Aug. 18 -- Union Minister for Fertilizers and Chemicals JP Nadda has assured that Andhra Pradesh would be allocated 29,000 Metric Tonnes of urea by August 21, to address the shortage.
Andhra Pradesh Education, IT & Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh today met BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda in New Delhi to discuss the urgent urea shortage in the state and other development initiatives.
During the meeting, Minister Lokesh highlighted the severe shortage of urea amid the ongoing Kharif season and requested the Union Government to immediately allocate the required supply to support farmers.
