Chandigarh, Feb. 1 -- BJP's Punjab unit Vice President Arvind Khanna on Saturday hailed the
Union Budget 2025 as a people-friendly initiative, bringing significant relief to all sections of society.
He praised the tax exemption on income up to Rs 12 lakh, calling it a commendable step by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government. Additionally, raising the TDS limit to Rs 6 lakh will greatly benefit the business community.
Khanna said the creation of 10,000 new medical seats will aid students, while the Rs 5 lakh welfare scheme will uplift women and backward classes.
