Ranchi, Feb. 1 -- Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh on Sunday launched a sharp attack on the union Budget, alleging that it favours tax evaders while misleading the common people, and termed it a collection of sweet words without substance.
Reacting to the Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Kamlesh said the essence of the Budget could be summed up as "tax concessions for tax thieves and false promises for the rest of the public."He alleged that allocations for crucial sectors such as agriculture, education, defence and healthcare are being reduced year after year, leading to widespread disappointment.
