Thiruvananthapuram, July 19 -- Concerns are mounting over the poor hygiene standards at catering stalls operating in and around railway stations across Kerala.
Several passengers have reported instances of stale or improperly handled food, prompting backlash on social media.
The Railway Police acted on complaints and conducted surprise inspections at catering stalls and IRCTC-run eateries operating near major railway stations in the state, according to the Railway Police Superintendent.
