New York, Sept. 12 -- The UN General Assembly is set to vote on Friday on the "New York Declaration," a resolution aimed at reviving the two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict while excluding Hamas from any role in Gaza's future.
The text, tabled by France and Saudi Arabia, explicitly condemns the Hamas-led assault of 7 October 2023, demands the release of all hostages, and calls for the terror group to relinquish control of Gaza to the Palestinian Authority, and disarm.
