Mulugu (Telangana), Dec. 14 -- Vishal V Sharma, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of India to UNESCO, visited the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Rudreswara (Ramappa) Temple at Palampet village in Mulugu district on Sunday to review the ongoing preservation and conservation efforts undertaken by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and the Telangana government.

Sharma, who previously served as Chairman of UNESCO's prestigious World Heritage Committee during its 46th session, is the first Indian to hold the post.
