Underreporting of cyber attacks impact issuers in Asia Pacific region
Chennai, July 24 -- Underreporting of cyber-attacks could create a false sense of security among Asia-Pacific issuers. Adherence to tighter regulation would provide a better picture of cyber preparedness and related credit quality, S&P Global Ratings said today.
In a report titled "Cyber Risk Brief: How Recent Data Breaches Affect Asia Pacific Issuers" S&P Global Ratings said cyber risks in the Asia Pacific region are intensifying.
