Nagpur, Feb. 23 -- Adv. Prakash Ambedkar, president of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA), on Monday alleged that India's sovereignty has been compromised under the India-United States trade agreement and announced a protest march in Mumbai on March 2 demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Addressing a press conference in Nagpur, Ambedkar claimed the agreement would adversely affect India's agriculture, industry and overall economic policy.

He alleged that policy decisions would henceforth be influenced by the United States, thereby undermining India's autonomy.
