Una , Sept. 24 -- The Una district administration has banned unauthorized excavation work in the Una municipal corporation area with immediate effect.
Mahendra Pal Gurjar, Chairman and Executive Deputy Commissioner of the District Disaster Management Authority, Una, has issued orders strictly prohibiting any excavation work being carried out without permission within the jurisdiction of the corporation.
An official spokesperson said that irregular excavation is repeatedly disrupting water supply, sewerage, electricity, optical fiber networks, and other underground services, potentially impacting public safety and disaster management efforts.
