United Nations, May 7 -- United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres voiced concern over the cross-border Indian military operations into Pakistan and POK and urged for maximum military restraint from both countries.
The spokesperson for the Secretary-General said this on the issue of Operation Sindoor launched by India on terror camps in Pakistan:
"The Secretary-General is very concerned about the Indian military operations across the Line of Control and international border.
"He calls for maximum military restraint from both countries.
"The world cannot afford a military confrontation between India and Pakistan."
