Moscow, July 21 -- The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced on Monday the detention of a senior official at the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), Ruslan Magamedrasulov, who is suspected of conducting business activities with Russia.
Earlier in the day, Ukrainian news portal Strana.ua reported that the SBU and the Prosecutor General's Office were conducting searches at detectives of the NABU. According to sources familiar with the matter, a series of detectives from the NABU are suspected of treason, trading with Russia and corruption.
