London/Kabul, July 17 -- An information leak has brought to light a secret new plan by the UK to repatriate over 33,000 Afghan nationals currently residing in the country.

While much of the proposal's mechanisms is undisclosed, it has been subject to a massive controversy in the country triggered by both social groups and the political opposition, reports Tolo News.



According to British media, the plans include relocating those Afghans who cooperated with the Royal Army in Afghanistan, putting them under grave risk of near-certain retaliation by the Taliban administration.
