Mumbai, Feb. 14 -- Renowned Special Public Prosecutor of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, Ujjwal Nikam, on Friday hailed the US Supreme Court's decision to extradite Tahawwur Rana, conspirator in the 26/11 terror attacks, to India.

Talking to media persons, he said that this is the great victory of India, and the extradition of Rana could give more information about the involvement of Pakistan's security apparatus in the incident.

''The order of the American court extraditing Tahawwur Rana is a great victory for India. It is for the first time, according to my knowledge, that the American government has heavily relied upon the Indian investigation agency's evidence..." Nikam said.
