Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 9 -- The Congress-led UDF today protested in the Kerala Legislative Assembly, accusing Speaker A N Shamseer of shielding Ministers and ruling front MLAs who made "unparliamentary" remarks during the ongoing session.
Opposition Leader V D Satheesan alleged that the Parliamentary Affairs Minister was attempting to disrupt the smooth functioning of the House. "Instead of ensuring order, the minister seems determined to throw the Assembly into chaos," he told the media.
