Kolhapur, May 1 -- Maharashtra Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nitesh Rane has said that Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has a "lust for power" and has been orchestrating conspiracies to become chief minister.

In a press conference in Sindhudurg today. Rane, who is also Sindhudurg district guardian minister, made several sharp political statements, heavily criticising Thackeray.

He alleged that Thackeray has been orchestrating conspiracies to become chief minister since 1995 and accused him of betraying Eknath Shinde and acting against Raj Thackeray.
