Mumbai, Oct. 6 -- Uddhav Thackeray led Shiv Sena MP and chief party spokesperson Sanjay Raut said here today that Uddhav and Raj Thackeray have reached an understanding to fight the municipal elections together.
"Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray have reached an understanding about Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and Shiv Sena fighting together in the municipal elections of Mumbai, Thane, Kalyan Dombivali, Pune, and Nashik. Besides these, there are many such municipal corporations where Shiv Sena is present, but MNS is present in many areas. In some places the (Sharad Pawar-led) NCP is strong, while in other places the Congress is strong. All these factors are being taken into account," Sanjay Raut told media persons.
