Mumbai, Jan. 1 -- Joint election rallies of Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction) chief Uddhav Thackeray and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray will commence from January 5 as part of the campaign for the upcoming municipal corporation elections.
According to sources in the Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction), joint rallies will be organised in Mumbai as well as other municipal corporations across the state.
For the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, joint rallies of the Thackeray cousins will be held at Shivaji Park, in the central suburbs, and in the western suburbs. Similar joint rallies are also planned in Thane, Pune, and Nashik.
