Hyderabad, March 9 -- Uber has partnered with AbhiBus, the bus ticketing arm of ixigo, to enable intercity bus ticket bookings directly within the Uber app, expanding its mobility services in India.
Under the partnership, Uber users across the country can now book intercity bus tickets through the app by accessing AbhiBus's inventory and booking technology.
The integration provides access to more than six lakh routes operated by over 6,200 bus operators nationwide, AbhiBus , a leading online bus-ticketing platform, said in a release here on Monday.
To book tickets, users can navigate to the Home or Services section on the Uber app and select the "Intercity" option.
