Uber joins ONDC for Delhi Metro ticket booking
New Delhi, May 19 -- Ride-hailing giant Uber on Monday announced its integration with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) for metro ticket booking services, becoming the latest platform to offer Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) tickets via its app. The move follows a similar integration by Rapido earlier this year.
The new feature enables commuters in the national capital to book Delhi Metro tickets seamlessly through Uber using QR codes and API-enabled payments, the company said in a statement.
