Abu Dhabi/Riyadh, Dec. 30 -- The UAE's Ministry of Defence today announced that it has decided to formally end its military presence in Yemen, and will be pulling back its remaining counter-terrorism operatives in the war-ravaged nation, amid the recent developments and their potential impact on the safety, and operational effectiveness of its ongoing missions, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.
The announcement comes in wake of an earlier statement issued today by the UAE Foreign Affairs Ministry, where it addressed the current situation in Yemen, and its military presence in the country within the framework of the Arab Coalition in support of legitimacy.
