Jerusalem, Sept. 3 -- U.S. airline Delta Air Lines has resumed operations to Israel with a flight taking off from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and landing at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv on Tuesday.
Delta Air Lines suspended flights to Israel on June 13, following the outbreak of the 12-day conflict between Israel and Iran.
"Delta is continuously monitoring the evolving security environment and assessing our operations based on security guidance and intelligence reports," the airline said in a statement.
Delta is the second U.S. carrier to restart flights to Israel, following United Airlines' return in July.
