Dehradun, Dec. 19 -- The Uttarakhand government will hold a series of panchayat meetings for non-residential natives of the state to return to their homes in an attempt to promote reverse migration in the hills.
Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday asked the officials to work hard on preventing mass migration from the hills.
Addressing the senior officials as he chaired the meeting of state Rural Development and Migration Prevention Commission, the chief minister stated that the problem of migration has been a major challenge for the state that invites hard work to reverse it, though, several steps were taken in this direction.
