Hyderabad, June 21 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday caught a typist red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 2,500 in Bhadradri Kothagudem district.

Chittemsetti Navakranth, a Typist (Computer Operator) at the Tahsildar's office in Burgampahad mandal, was caught by the ACB Khammam Unit at around 1314 hours, while accepting the bribe from a complainant.

The bribe was allegedly demanded for uploading a ration card application of the complainant's cousin on the official portal and forwarding it for further processing.
