Palakkad, Oct. 15 -- Two youths were found shot dead under mysterious circumstances at Munnuekra in Karimbam panchayat, near Kalladikode, in the district, on Tuesday.
According to police, the deceased were identified as Binu (37) son of Thanka and Nidhin (28) son of K Shaila, both residents of Maruthumkode near Kalladikode.
They were friends, neighbours and worked as daily wage labourers.
The incident took place in the afternoon.
The body of Binu was found lying in a pool of blood with bullet injuries on a concrete road by a local resident, who returned from rubber tapping works, around 1500 hrs.
