Baghpat, Oct. 23 -- Couple of laborers were killed while two others were injured today when a wall of a brick kiln collapsed in Baghpat district.
According to Chandinagar Police Station in-charge Atar Singh, the incident occurred at the ASP Mahadev Brick Field located on the Lahchauda-Gauna road, where routine work was underway. During the loading process of the bricks, a wall suddenly collapsed, burying four workers under the debris.
Singh said that other laborers rushed to rescue them and informed the police. Rajendra (60) died on the spot, while Dinesh Yadav (50) succumbed to his injuries while being taken to the hospital.
