Sehore (MP), Aug. 5 -- Two women died and more than 10 devotees sustained injuries, two of them critically, in a stampede at Kubereshwar Dham, the site of Kathavachak Pradeep Mishra's congregation, police said today.

Police sources said the stampede followed disruption in the distribution of rudraksha (sacred beads).

Three victims were rushed to the District Hospital, where two were declared brought dead.

Additional Superintendent of Police Sunita Rawat said the women died during a "scuffle". The deceased, both unidentified, were aged around 50 years.
