Nahan/Shimla (HP), Oct. 3 -- Two wild elephants from a neighboring state have entered Himachal Pradesh, creating concern in the Paonta Sahib region.
The elephants were spotted today in the Satiwala Beat of Bahral Block under the Majra Forest Range, officials confirmed.
Following the incident, the Forest Department has sounded a high alert and urged people to strictly avoid visiting the forests. Residents have been advised that if entry into the jungle is unavoidable, they must exercise extreme caution and never venture alone.
