Thrissur, Jan. 7 -- A potentially hazardous situation was averted at Wadackanchery Railway Station when a two-wheeler parked in the station's parking area was found leaking petrol.
Railway Protection Force (RPF) staff promptly rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident, sources said.
Upon inspection, petrol leakage was confirmed, and immediate action was taken by turning off the petrol knob, preventing any mishap. The Thrissur RPF Post registered a case under Section 154 against the vehicle owner, who was arrested, and the two-wheeler was seized following standard procedures yesterday.
