Chennai, Oct. 21 -- Two Well Marked Low Pressure areas over the Bay of Bengalwill intensify into a Depression with the Met office forecasting heavy to very heavyrains and issued Red and Orange alerts for the next 3-4 days for several districtsof Tamil Nadu, including Chennai, even as Chief Minister M K Stalin reviewed theNortheast monsoon situation, assessed the damages caused by rains directed theauthorities to take all precautionary measures to tackle the rain fury.
In a Special bullet in this evening, the Met office said the Well marked Low Pressurearea over southeast Arabian Sea moved slowly northwestwards and lay over the sameregion at 1730 hrs of today.
