Kampala, March 7 -- The Uganda Table Tennis Association (UTTA) has announced that two female players have qualified to play in the ITTF World Table Tennis Championship 2025 slated for May 17-25 in Doha, Qatar.
Robert Jjagwe, President of the Association said on Friday that Jemimah Nakawala and Parvin Judith Nangonzi will be among the few African players featuring in the world event in Doha.
He made it clear that Nakawala qualified through the world ranking basis in doubles and Nangozi the women's singles.
"Due to the good support we gave our players to participate in several events last year, we have been able to qualify again for the prestigious World Table Tennis Championship," Jjagwe said.
