Shimla, Oct. 25 -- The Directorate of Education has suspended two government teachers in separate cases of serious misconduct reported from Chamba and Shimla districts.
In the first case, a teacher from the Saluni area of Chamba district was suspended following his arrest in connection with the kidnapping of a girl who has been missing since September 28.
The Directorate of Primary Education issued orders for his suspension after the police arrested him based on a complaint filed by the victim's family.
The accused teacher is currently on police remand, though the girl's whereabouts remain unknown. OSD of the Education Department, Umakant Anand, confirmed that the suspension order has been communicated to the concerned school principal....
