Hamirpur/Mahoba, Sept. 14 -- Fear surrounding the mandatory Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is reportedly growing among government school teachers in Uttar Pradesh. In a tragic turn of events, two teachers have died by suicide within just five days, allegedly due to the pressure of the exam.

According to reports from Hamirpur district, 52-year-old Ganeshilal, a primary school teacher from Panwari village, was found hanging yesterday in his second residence, located approximately 1.5 kilometers from his main home. His son discovered him in the evening after the teacher failed to return home from school.
